Meet Lisa Connelly

Hi, I’m Lisa and I’m so glad you are here.

I am a Registered Social Service Worker and trauma-informed counsellor, providing virtual, phone and walk and talk counselling through Aspect Psychotherapy.

I support adults and seniors who are navigating anxiety, depression, parenting, caregiving, grief, life transitions

and the spaces in between.

Whether you’re working through past experiences, feeling overwhelmed or working through some of the messy stuff life throws at us, I am here to support you.

I work from a holistic, person-centered approach.

I’ll meet you where you’re at, and we will move at your pace.

If any of this resonates, I’d love to connect

and see if working together feels like a good fit.

My Approach

My clients often come to counselling feeling weighed down, unseen, or unsure of how to move forward.

I offer a supportive space where we can dig deeper to create a place that offers new possibilities.

My goal is to help you reconnect with your own

strengths and inner wisdom.

When people work with me, they can expect a steady, compassionate presence and a space that allows them

to move at their own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I know if counselling is
right for me?

Counselling can be helpful if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking a space to explore your thoughts and emotions. Choosing the right counsellor is a personal decision, and it's important to find someone whose approach resonates with you. I strive to create a warm,

non-judgmental environment where you feel supported and empowered to uncover your inner wisdom.

What is walk and
talk counselling?

Walk and talk counselling blends therapeutic conversation with the calming presence of nature and gentle movement. Walking can create a sense of ease, helps reduce tension, quiet mental chatter, and bring clarity to what feels overwhelming. This approach can feel especially supportive if you find movement helps you process and reflect more easily.
